Vowels’ Fall Winter 2025 collection, Everyday Life, debuted at Paris Fashion Week with a refined vision that elevated the brand’s core philosophy. Guided by the concept of Shu Ha Ri – a framework of mastery through tradition, detachment, and transcendence – Creative Director Yuki Yagi presented a contemporary wardrobe designed to bridge the gap between luxury and daily ritual.
FALL WINTER 2025.26 COLLECTIONS
This season, vowels focused on enduring versatility, crafting elevated staples executed with precision and artistry. Relaxed cotton, wool, and silk shirting appeared in checkered and floral prints, complemented by muted tones of blue and green. The collection’s standout pieces included an M-1-inspired handstitched knitted bomber in steel blue, black, and burgundy, alongside light and heavyweight knits that balanced functionality with aesthetic appeal.
Sophisticated graphic play featured prominently, with a custom polyester jacquard post-Impressionist still life motif gracing split raglan coats, double-zip jackets, and work pants. Vowels’ signature touch was evident in a blacked-out varsity jacket adorned with chenille patches and collegiate tees that reinterpreted the brand’s wordmark with understated wit. A wool mohair suit in black and chocolate brown underscored the collection’s embrace of timeless tailoring, adding depth and dimension to the lineup.
Accessories took center stage with a range of versatile bags crafted from lightweight recycled nylon, including totes, commuter-friendly duffles, backpacks, and sling bags. Each piece reflected vowels’ commitment to combining practicality with refined craftsmanship, reinforcing its focus on creating a global wardrobe suited for everyday life.
The presentation itself was an immersive experience that extended the collection’s narrative. Hosted at 43 rue de Montmorency, the showcase featured a curated selection of materials from vowels’ New York-based Research Library, offering insight into the design process. Wooden furniture from Shin Okuda’s Waka Waka studio added warmth and utility, while Parisian café Dreamin Man provided refreshments. A listening bar inspired by Japanese sound design and outfitted with custom speakers by Matéo Garcia added a sensory dimension, with a music lineup curated by Cyrus Goberville rounding out the ambiance.
By focusing on understated luxury and meaningful craftsmanship, vowels’ Everyday Life redefined the intersection of utility and refinement. Eschewing fleeting trends, the collection offered a cohesive vision of contemporary elegance, one designed to endure and enrich the rituals of daily living. With its thoughtful presentation and meticulously crafted garments, Yuki Yagi reaffirmed vowels as a brand rooted in substance and sophistication.
