Lewis Hamilton’s +44 and Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama have joined forces once again, following the success of their first collaboration in 2023. Their partnership, built on a shared appreciation for each other’s work, returns with “Infinity,” a capsule collection that channels influences from the Far East and car culture, both central to Hamilton’s creative vision.

The collection showcases rare Sorayama artworks, featuring his signature chrome aesthetic. A striking unicorn set against a glowing red sun, a Pegasus with its wings fully extended, and a sleek snake honoring Lunar New Year serve as key visual elements. Sorayama’s renowned chrome female robots also make an appearance, reinforcing his distinctive artistic style. Each piece reflects a meticulous approach, turning apparel into wearable art.

This exclusive release builds on the foundation of their previous work, pushing artistic expression within fashion. The combination of Sorayama’s futuristic designs with +44’s forward-thinking aesthetic creates a collection that feels refined yet experimental. The chrome and metallic themes, central to Sorayama’s work, elevate the garments into collectible pieces that go beyond standard streetwear.
To mark the launch, an exclusive pop-up event will take place at JUICE in Shanghai’s JULU district from March 19 to March 23. This showcase allows fans to experience the collection firsthand in an immersive setting, reinforcing +44’s global presence. Shanghai serves as the perfect setting for this release, bridging Sorayama’s artistic heritage with Hamilton’s international influence.

The collection will officially release on March 19, first through the +44 platform before reaching the Shanghai pop-up. Given the limited nature of these pieces, demand is expected to be high, especially among collectors who recognize Sorayama’s artistic impact.

Hamilton’s passion for motorsport, art, and fashion continues to shape +44’s identity. By collaborating with Sorayama, he further cements the brand’s creative direction, fusing distinct artistic movements with contemporary fashion. “Infinity” reflects their shared vision, proving that fashion can serve as a canvas for groundbreaking visual storytelling.
