For FW25, Louis Vuitton transforms the runway into a station platform, where the anticipation of departure and the weight of return set the stage. Inspired by the golden age of rail travel, the collection brings to life the emotions tied to movement, excitement, nostalgia, and discovery. Set against the backdrop of L’Étoile du Nord, a hidden station evoking the atmosphere of 19th-century travel, the show explores the meaning of transit, both literal and emotional.

The collection revisits Louis Vuitton’s connection to travel, introducing new interpretations of its signature luggage. The Keepall, a long-standing icon, serves as the foundation for L’Express, a new bag featuring softer lines and muted tones. This season’s accessories reflect both function and elegance, updating classic designs with a sense of ease and adaptability.

The show also draws inspiration from music, collaborating with the legendary electro group Kraftwerk. Their album Trans-Europe Express appears across select pieces, reinforcing the rhythm and movement that define the collection. Structured outerwear and fluid tailoring define this season’s silhouettes, capturing the balance between refinement and comfort. Long coats, fitted blazers, and precisely cut trousers recall vintage travel attire, while layered textures add depth and contrast. The collection shifts between practicality and expression, reflecting the ever-changing nature of personal style.

Rail-inspired details subtly emerge throughout the collection, from pinstripes reminiscent of conductor uniforms to metallic finishes that echo train interiors. Accessories complete the story, with bags, footwear, and hardware mirroring the polished utility of classic travel essentials. Each element reinforces the theme without overpowering the designs, allowing them to exist in both the past and the present.

With Fall-Winter 2025, Louis Vuitton brings forward a collection rooted in movement and transition. It captures the emotions tied to travel, where every departure carries the thrill of the unknown, and every return holds the memories of where one has been.
