Maccapani unveiled its Fall Winter 2025 collection, Macca’s Threshold, during Paris Fashion Week in an intimate setting that reflected the brand’s deeper connection to its roots. Hosted in designer Margherita Maccapani Missoni’s grandmother’s Paris apartment, the March 8 presentation gathered friends of the brand for a brunch curated by chef Laszlo Badet. More than just a showcase, the event created an atmosphere where guests could fully engage with the essence of Maccapani, a space where heritage, identity, and craft converged.
Now in its fifth season, the collection marks a significant shift. After years of refining the label’s voice, Margherita embraces knitwear as more than just a technique, it becomes a language for storytelling. This moment represents a deeper reconciliation with personal and creative origins, using fabric and form to express both past and future.

“I’ve made peace with my past and my heritage,” Margherita shares. “Now, I feel free to explore knitwear in a way that truly reflects where Maccapani comes from. That’s why we chose Casa della Nonna in Paris – not just as a space, but as a symbol of everything that shaped my aesthetic. This place represents memory, identity, and creation.”
Versatility remains central to Fall Winter 2025, with pieces designed to shift across the different aspects of a woman’s life. A standout chemisier transforms from an overcoat to a structured two-piece, reinforcing the idea of garments that adapt rather than restrict. Fabrics mold to the body while allowing movement, reflecting an evolving sense of confidence and individuality.
The Maccapani woman steps outside expectations. This season, she appears in everyday settings, free from outdated notions of domesticity. She moves between work, social life, and romance on her own terms, independent and unapologetic in how she navigates her world.

The collection places jersey jacquard at its core, introducing it as a defining element for FW25. This fabric shifts between elegance and function, offering a dynamic range of finishes. From shimmering lurex-infused versions to softer wool adaptations, each piece wraps the body in motion, responding to the way it is worn. Rather than existing as static objects, these garments take their full shape through movement, emphasizing the connection between fabric and form.
Maccapani remains committed to delivering quality craftsmanship through the lens of Made in Italy, ensuring each piece upholds a high level of artistry while maintaining accessibility. In an industry that often leans toward exclusivity, the brand takes a different path, prioritizing honesty, practicality, and real-world wearability.
