Gabby Elan Jewelry created a custom grill for Beyoncé that draws from the visual and regional themes present throughout Cowboy Carter. The design incorporates miniature gun and rose motifs, turquoise stones, and a Lone Star symbol – each referencing Western iconography and her Texas background.
Known for work with artists including Pharrell Williams and Madonna, Gabby Elan is recognized for translating narrative themes into custom grill design. For Cowboy Carter, the materials move away from diamond-heavy formats in favor of sculptural detailing and iconography tied to Americana. The use of turquoise connects the grill to traditional Southwestern jewelry while reinforcing the album’s broader visual direction.

Beyoncé’s Inglewood performance yesterday marked the official launch of the Cowboy Carter tour, bringing the album’s full-scale vision to a live audience for the first time. The set featured music from the new album alongside reinterpreted versions of earlier work, with staging, choreography, and styling centered on the album’s references to American frontier imagery and Southern culture. A standout moment came during the performance of “Protector,” when Beyoncé was joined on stage by both of her daughters. Blue Ivy and Rumi appeared together, with seven-year-old Rumi making her live performance debut.

The show’s visual production included a mechanical bull, a massive horseshoe installation, and rotating stage elements designed to shift with each act. LED screens played sequences built around protest history, Black cowboy iconography, and surreal takes on country aesthetics. Wardrobe drew from a mix of denim, leather, and Western tailoring, intercut with sculptural pieces custom-made for the tour.
The Cowboy Carter tour will continue through the summer, with stops planned in Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Houston, Washington D.C., London, and Paris, before concluding in Las Vegas in July.
