Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY unveiled a new collaboration with mobile gaming giant Clash of Clans, launching a capsule that transforms some of the game’s most iconic characters into statement pieces. The limited-edition drop reinterprets LOVERBOY’s signature motifs with a gaming twist, channeling the theatrical edge of its house codes through the lens of Clash’s legendary warriors.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS
Central to the collection are five core pieces: two cotton T-shirts and three collectible beanies, each paying tribute to a different Clash of Clans character. The “Barbarian Beanie” in yellow, mimics the fierce spirit of the game’s starter hero, while the “P.E.K.K.A. Beanie” in black adds sculptural drama with horned detailing that recalls the armor of the powerful P.E.K.K.A. fighter. A third headwear option, the brown “Skull Balloon Beanie”, references the game’s airborne attacker and brings a dose of anarchic fun to the knitwear lineup.

On the apparel side, the “P.E.K.K.A. Tee” in black and “Hog Rider Tee” in white (both £115) showcase hand-drawn illustrations on the back, paired with minimal front embroidery. Each shirt is made from 100% organic cotton, reinforcing LOVERBOY’s commitment to sustainable production practices. While clearly a collector’s item for fans of the game, the capsule also holds its own within Charles Jeffrey’s broader design universe.

This isn’t the first time LOVERBOY has turned to unconventional sources for inspiration. The brand, founded in Charles’s East London bedroom and now based at Somerset House, has always favored the fantastical over the formulaic. With roots in queer club culture and an aesthetic shaped by Scottish folklore, LOVERBOY’s foray into gaming feels less like a departure and more like a natural next level, especially as the brand expands its global reach.

Though tongue-in-cheek, the collaboration reflects LOVERBOY’s radical ethos: to create clothes that defy expectations and belong to everyone. The beanies, particularly, serve as costume pieces that merge fantasy, queerness, and humor, three themes that have long powered the brand’s appeal.
The LOVERBOY x Clash of Clans collection is now available to shop via the brand’s website, offering fans a chance to step into character.
