Louis Vuitton has unveiled an updated version of its Mon Monogram personalisation service, reinforcing the brand’s long-standing commitment to craftsmanship. The concept of personalisation is deeply intertwined with the House’s origins, first emerging as a practical solution to help travellers identify their trunks. Over time, this functional element evolved into a visual signature, transforming luggage into highly personal, symbolic objects that reflect identity.
ACCESSORIES
The newly enhanced Mon Monogram service builds on this legacy, offering clients a significantly broader range of customisation options. Since its official debut in 2008, the service has allowed clients to stamp initials and colours onto select pieces. Today, the expanded platform includes an extended lineup of models such as travel bags, rolling luggage, city bags, and small leather goods. Each item is made to order by artisans in France, emphasizing Louis Vuitton’s enduring focus on craftsmanship and exclusivity.

Accessible both in-store and online, the service introduces new colours, stripe patterns, typefaces, and graphic patches across Monogram and Monogram Eclipse canvases. Items eligible for personalisation include icons like the Keepall, Horizon, Christopher backpack, OnTheGo, and Trio Poche Toilette, as well as accessories such as passport covers. Clients can now create entirely unique pieces, setting initials in vintage-style patches inspired by design movements like the Belle Époque and Art Nouveau, or layering multiple elements in curated schemes.

The design process is intuitive yet richly detailed, allowing users to begin with a blank canvas and select from countless combinations. Once an order is placed, Louis Vuitton uses a three-layer digital printing method to ensure rich, durable colour and precision. Despite the intricacy of the process, the final product is delivered within three weeks.

Louis Vuitton plans to further expand Mon Monogram with additional models, materials, and motifs, ensuring that this fusion of heritage and innovation continues to evolve. More than just a customisation service, Mon Monogram reflects the Maison’s dedication to making luxury both personal and meaningful.
