Schiaparelli continues to play with the boundaries of fashion and function this season, introducing three new sunglasses designs to its growing eyewear range. Under the creative direction of Daniel Roseberry, the Maison pays tribute to founder Elsa Schiaparelli’s love of fantasy accessories, particularly her fondness for sunglasses as tools of transformation and theatricality.
EYEWEAR
The new collection, titled Fetish Sunglasses, features four models that reinterpret classic eyewear shapes through the Maison’s surrealist lens. Each design is elevated by unexpected detailing, such as 3D gold accents, diamanté piercings, or Schiaparelli’s signature Keyhole motif, that introduces a bold, tongue-in-cheek edge. These details not only serve as visual punctuation but reframe the sunglasses as objects of fetish and fantasy, in keeping with the brand’s rich history of subversive design.

The diamanté piercing, for example, turns eyewear into a wearable illusion, simulating body adornment while maintaining elegance. The Keyhole, a now-iconic house emblem, adds a voyeuristic twist, transforming a pair of sunglasses into a symbol of mystery. Together, these elements create a collection that feels provocative yet wearable, balancing utility with an unmistakably Schiaparelli sense of humor.

With this launch, the house continues its tradition of fusing fine craftsmanship with fantasy, expanding its reach beyond couture and into bold, collectible objects. As luxury houses increasingly revisit accessories as key vehicles for storytelling, Schiaparelli’s latest eyewear offering feels both timely and timeless. The Fetish Sunglasses collection adds depth and texture to Roseberry’s evolving vision for the house, one where surrealism isn’t just referenced, but actively lived through the objects we choose to wear.
